I got my MCAT scores back recently and they are not as competitive as I want them to be. So, I'm going to re-take the exam on June 13. Interestingly enough, I am not upset as I had imagined myself in this situation. On the contrary, it's a matter of "If I need to take the test again in order to be a more competitive applicant, so be it. I have to do what I have to do."
Thanks for support and well-wishes. Keep you all posted.

Thanks for sharing this, Nate. We'll be praying as you rev up for the exam. May God go before you and be with you always.
Hey Nate,
I had a dream the other night that you got accepted to the University of Michigan. How random is that?
I guess you and your medical school journey are on my mind.
Hang in there!
This is a bit random, but this post has really inspired me. I took my degree comps last week and I've been thinking a lot about what a tragedy it would be to have to re-take them. But your determination to do what you need to do to be the best in your field has reminded me what graduate school takes--constant hard work.
I know you'll be ready come June 13th and we'll be praying for you as you prepare.
Remember the words of Tennyson
"To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield".
We are with you in your quest.
